Calling All Cooks! Wooden Blocks Giveaway

Calling All Cooks!! I have decided to post a giveaway in hopes that someone will be able to come up with some recipe ideas for me that I haven’t tried yet! The giveaway will be a set of homemade wooden blocks similar to the ones in the picture. I realize that all cooks might not have an immediate need for wooden blocks, but it is something I can produce quickly and efficiently….which is important when you go to 3-10 doctors appointments a week, cook 6-9 meals every day, spend hours each week arguing with doctors and insurance companies, and attempt to homeschool your children! Not to mention….wooden blocks can make a nice gift for a child you know, a fun toy for all ages to keep around your home, or even something for you to play with on days you decide to give up on being an adult and play in your blanket fort!

Frugal Gifts for Little Ones

The rules are: Post your ideas of new recipes I could try in a comment below (with your email address so that I have a way to contact you if you win)! That’s it! I will then try all of the different ideas and choose my favorite as the winner. You have until April 21st to submit as many ideas as you wish. The posting of the winner will depend on how long it takes me to try all of the recipes, but hopefully it will be within a couple weeks!

The foods I CAN have are: Scallops, Catfish, Shrimp, Venison, Whitefish, Turkey, Perch, Swordfish, Tuna, Flounder, Tilapia, Codfish, Pork, Duck, Trout, Crab, Pumpkin, Brussel Sprouts, Artichoke, Black Olives, Broccoli, Oats, Tapioca, Millet, Buckwheat, Coconut, Pecans, Sunflower seeds, Brazil Nuts, English Walnuts, Cottonseed, Cherry, Date, Strawberry, Blackberry, Plum, Mango, Kiwi, Cumin, Sage, Black Tea, Thyme, Rosemary, Ghee, Dandelion, Maple Syrup, Quail Eggs

The recipes I have tried are: Strawberries and Creme Oatmeal, Dandelion Mocha, Cafe Au Lait Oatmeal, Shrimp with Ghee or Coconut Milk (served with broccoli or artichokes), Raw Strawberry Ice Cream, Cream of Buckwheat, Scallops with Ghee, Fish with Ghee, Venison Roast, Venison Sausage, Strawberry Oatmeal Muffins (ok…but not great without eggs), Walnut Milk, Walnut Milk Yogurt, Boiled Quail Eggs, All Fruit Smoothies, Kombucha, Water Kefir…and of course eating all of the above foods raw or cooked by themselves.

Good luck!!!

Also as a mom, I appreciate not having to stress about whether or not I covered every crevice and under straps with sunscreen while trying to get my two year old to stand still!!!! Visit mommyandmegiveaways.com for more information on why this is the swimsuit company I trust to protect my family’s skin while in the water!

Sierra Summits Sunscreen Discount

I posted a review today for Sierra Summits Sunscreen, and they are offering our readers at mommyandmegiveways.com a 20% discount with free shipping on all orders placed within the next two weeks! I highly recommend this sunscreen for the entire family (except for infants). All sunscreens are NOT created equally! There are very few sunscreens available in the grocery store that I would trust to protect my family. Visit mommyandmegiveaways.com for more information about why this was the first sunscreen to obtain the Melanoma International Foundation’s Seal of Approval!

Envibum Giveaway

My friend, Lisa was sent these diapers to review for a giveaway, but she ended up sending them to us because she had trouble with her son’s chunky thighs. I have to say I am super impressed with this company! It is run by a team of Work-at-Home Moms, Dads, and Grandparents! Rachel, who started Envibum, is a mother of 3 (with a fourth due next month)! She has been sewing for 20 years and felt God calling her to create Envibum to not only help other parents cloth diaper their little ones but also to compassionately give to those in need.

In fact, $2 of every diaper sold through their company goes to organizations like: Food for the Hungry, Living Water International, Crisis Pregnancy Center, or Salvation Army. For every diaper cover sold, one is given to a mom in need. In fact, their diaper cover is designed with moms in third world countries in mind!

Obviously washing cloth diapers can be a problem if you are in an area with a very limited water supply. That is actually why the velcro used is brown. If you rinse it in muddy river water, it will not leave the diaper looking filthy! Their company is also built on a strong foundation of integrity. They are definitely a company I feel comfortable supporting with my business, and they offer high quality products using natural fibers, suitable for the most sensitive of tushies! Check out our giveaway at mommyandmegiveaways.com!

Fun in the Sun Event

Well, we still don’t have a baby yet! However, I am excited because my friend, Lisa, and I are hosting a Fun in the Sun Event to raise awareness about skin cancer and prevention! We plan to have some great giveaways throughout the summer!

Protecting my children’s skin is very important to me. Not only am I a melanoma survivor, but my children have a family history of skin cancer on both sides of the family. If you would like to help raise awareness about skin cancer and prevention, please visit mommyandmegiveaways.com and grab our Fun in the Sun Event button to put on your own blog!

Leg Huggers Giveaway

Jessica loves to wear leggings! I have really enjoyed them when potty training, using pre-folds, layering, etc….we have found all kinds of uses for them! The other day I got a set of Leg Huggers in the mail to review for a giveaway. I have used several different types of baby leggings, but I really, really like these!

Not only are they cheaper than many of their competitors, but they also use bamboo fabric that is: lightweight, eco-friendly, anti-bacterial, AND blocks UV rays!!!! What is not to love?!?! I have decided that John will be wearing these ALL summer!!! Check out Mommy and Me Giveaways and enter for a chance to win a pair in a style of your choosing! (Jessica totally LOVES the cars/trucks design!!)
