Calling All Cooks!! I have decided to post a giveaway in hopes that someone will be able to come up with some recipe ideas for me that I haven’t tried yet! The giveaway will be a set of homemade wooden blocks similar to the ones in the picture. I realize that all cooks might not have an immediate need for wooden blocks, but it is something I can produce quickly and efficiently….which is important when you go to 3-10 doctors appointments a week, cook 6-9 meals every day, spend hours each week arguing with doctors and insurance companies, and attempt to homeschool your children! Not to mention….wooden blocks can make a nice gift for a child you know, a fun toy for all ages to keep around your home, or even something for you to play with on days you decide to give up on being an adult and play in your blanket fort!
The rules are: Post your ideas of new recipes I could try in a comment below (with your email address so that I have a way to contact you if you win)! That’s it! I will then try all of the different ideas and choose my favorite as the winner. You have until April 21st to submit as many ideas as you wish. The posting of the winner will depend on how long it takes me to try all of the recipes, but hopefully it will be within a couple weeks!
The foods I CAN have are: Scallops, Catfish, Shrimp, Venison, Whitefish, Turkey, Perch, Swordfish, Tuna, Flounder, Tilapia, Codfish, Pork, Duck, Trout, Crab, Pumpkin, Brussel Sprouts, Artichoke, Black Olives, Broccoli, Oats, Tapioca, Millet, Buckwheat, Coconut, Pecans, Sunflower seeds, Brazil Nuts, English Walnuts, Cottonseed, Cherry, Date, Strawberry, Blackberry, Plum, Mango, Kiwi, Cumin, Sage, Black Tea, Thyme, Rosemary, Ghee, Dandelion, Maple Syrup, Quail Eggs
The recipes I have tried are: Strawberries and Creme Oatmeal, Dandelion Mocha, Cafe Au Lait Oatmeal, Shrimp with Ghee or Coconut Milk (served with broccoli or artichokes), Raw Strawberry Ice Cream, Cream of Buckwheat, Scallops with Ghee, Fish with Ghee, Venison Roast, Venison Sausage, Strawberry Oatmeal Muffins (ok…but not great without eggs), Walnut Milk, Walnut Milk Yogurt, Boiled Quail Eggs, All Fruit Smoothies, Kombucha, Water Kefir…and of course eating all of the above foods raw or cooked by themselves.
